Wi-Fi Access Setup

Follow the steps below to connect your personal device to the wifi network.
Important: This setup is for personal devices only. Department-owned computers are provisioned automatically—do not install this software on station computers.

Workspace Domain

atascocita (or atascocita.ui.com)

Copy this name—you will need it when signing in.

Before You Begin: Check for an Invite Email

Depending on when your account was provisioned, you may have received an invitation email to set up your device:

Option A (You have an invite email): Open the email on the device you want to connect and tap the setup/invitation link. It will automatically route you to the correct app and fill in your department workspace domain. Repeat this process (using the same email) for all your personally owned devices.
Option B (No invite email or adding a new device): You do not need an email to connect. Simply follow the manual setup steps below using your @avfd.com credentials.

📱 Phone & Tablet Setup (iPhone & Android)

Step 1: Download UniFi Endpoint app

Install the app on your mobile device:

Step 2: Open the App & Tap "Sign In"

Launch the UniFi Endpoint app and tap the Sign In button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Enter Domain & Authenticate

When prompted for your organization/workspace domain, enter: atascocita
Tap Continue.
Sign in using your department @avfd.com Google account and complete 2-Step Verification.

Step 4: Activate Wi-Fi

Tap One-Click WiFi in the app to install the secure network profile.

💻 Windows & Mac Laptop Setup

Step 1: Connect to Guest Wi-Fi

Connect your laptop to the AFD-Guest Wi-Fi network so you have temporary internet to download the app.

Step 2: Download the Desktop Client

Download UniFi Endpoint for Windows & Mac

Step 3: Install & Sign In

Run the installer and launch UniFi Endpoint.
Click Sign In.
Enter workspace domain: atascocita
When your browser opens, sign in with your department @avfd.com Google credentials.

Step 4: Connect to Secure Wi-Fi

Open the app from your system tray (Windows) or top menu bar (Mac).
Click One-Click WiFi to install the internal network profile.
Disconnect from AFD-Guest and delete/forget that network.
